Marybeth Littlefield treats each student like her own. She speaks to them in a kind, caring voice and they feel very comfortable telling her their needs or their exciting news or about a problem they may have. She listens intently and makes they feel important!
Additionally she communicates with the parents/guardians on a daily basis, making sure they know the events of the day/week, how the day went and any other pertinent information. She also helps the students make a smooth transition to and from the classroom.
Marybeth’s supports district policies, adheres to school rules, and does her part to make the school day run smoothly. She speaks in a positive manner regarding school, school events, and situations. She also volunteers to help with projects or to take on a project that needs to be done and she has an uncanny ability to draw others into projects with her infectious enthusiasm and excitement. “She is always willing to go the extra mile to help students, parents, staff, or anyone for that matter. She is so outrageously upbeat, positive and energetic, that it is CONTAGIOUS! She makes everyone around her do a personal check and step up their level of enthusiasm at that moment.”
Marybeth continually searches for new ideas, crafts and movement ideas that will reinforce concepts in the PK classroom. This year she is looking for ways to incorporate more science into the curriculum
You can see Marybeth Littlefield’s handy work, by stopping at Bud’s Shop ‘N Save in Pittsfield to view the district bulletin board. Her eye catching display features student of the month photos, school events and information. The response to this project has been incredible. Students are so excited and parents and grandparents smile with pride upon viewing the photos.
Marybeth Littlefield makes a difference in the lives of Manson Park students and staff.
She energizes all of us!
Congratulation to Marybeth Littlefield for receiving the MSAD #53 Board of Education Support Staff Award!
