Christine Flood received the Community Member Board of Education Award because of her incredible, tireless achievements as a school volunteer.  Her efforts range from the mundane – copying, cutting things out and organizing paperwork to the high level of administering student assessments.  Her work at the Manson Park School included helping students at breakfast and tidying up the all-purpose room  after breakfast as well as administering student assessments and assisting with the annual flu vaccinations.

She also works in other schools with the annual flu vaccinations, assisted in running the Tooth Protectors Clinics, spends many in the library and seems to be everywhere that there is a volunteer need.

She has also chaired the elementary schools PTO for the past two years and has spent endless hours in meetings, organizing fund raising events and completing everything that is required to make each event successful.

Christine’s demeanor is always pleasant, calm, professional, organized, and she is very self-directed.

Congratulations to Christine Flood for receiving the MSAD #53 Board of Education Community Award.
