Math MAP Assessment
The assessment has 42 math questions for students. The students begin with questions at their grade level and they must select an answer before they can go to the next problem.  The difficulty of each question is based on how well a student answers all the previous questions. If a student answers one correctly then the questions become more difficult. If it is answered incorrectly, the question becomes easier.  In subsequent tests the students will begin where ever the students left off at the previous test with 50% correct and 50% incorrect. The final score is an estimate of the student’s achievement level.
