Technology Specialist

Description:

  • Provides support for various software, hardware, network equipment and systems used by district employees and students.

  • Prepares, maintains, and troubleshoots various devices, software and accounts.

  • Repairs or facilitates repair/replacement of non-functioning equipment.

  • Works with various vendors to solve problems

  • Maintains district websites and social media sites.

  • Prepares rosters for standardized computer testing

  • Trains users in small groups or one on one.

  • Assists IT Director with other projects as needed

Experience and Education:

Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field preferred or equivalent work experience/certifications.

2 years experience providing IT support

Strong customer service and problem solving skills

Desired Skills:

Working knowledge of basic networking concepts such as IPv4, DNS, DHCP

Experience in multiple platforms: iOS, Mac, Chrome, Windows

GSuite Administration

MDM Experience

Network Cabling
